Three Rivers Race
(early June) Started in the 1960s and organised by Horning Sailing Club, the three rivers are the Ant, Bure and Thurne. 45 Miles. >> Wroxham Week (late July) A full week of competitive sailing organised by the Norfolk Broads Yacht Club. More than 40 races. >> Horning Week (early August) Another Broads sailing event organised by Horning Sailing Club >> Oulton Week (mid-August) The Waveney & Oulton Broad Yacht Club run Oulton week - a sailing regatta for the family. Beyond sailing, there are plenty of social activities throughout the week for the young and the slightly more mature. >> Barton Regatta (late August) This long established event provides competitive sailing in specially selected Blakes yachts. Over 30 yachts take part in this event which includes a series of races in the beautiful surroundings of Barton Broad and a programme of social events each evening, culminating in the Regatta dinner and prize-giving >> Yare Navigation Race (late September) In 1976, Coldham Hall Sailing Club started the Yare Navigation Race for river cruisers - taking the fleet from Coldham Hall, Brundall, down the River Yare to a mark on Breydon Water near Great Yarmouth and back, a distance of more than 30 miles.
